By Air:

Air India, Vistara, Indigo, Air Asia, Spice Jet, and Go Air offer daily flights from New Delhi. 

SpiceJet and GoAir offer daily flights from Mumbai to Bagdogra. Regular flights are also available from Guwahati and Kolkata. If you are traveling to Bagdogra from outside India, booking a flight to one of the country's major cities is recommended, and then taking a connecting flight to Bagdogra. 

By Rail: 

The closest railway station to Darjeeling is New Jalpaiguri. This station provides connections to all major parts of the country. Several trains are available from cities such as Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, and Kochi.

Several direct trains run from Delhi to New Jalpaiguri multiple times a day. If you plan to travel from Kolkata, specifically from Sealdah Station, the Darjeeling Mail is the most suitable train for you. This train operates nightly, departing at 10:05 PM and taking approximately 12 hours to reach its destination.
